Kinetic Chain Release
Kinetic Chain Release is a system of gentle mobilisations and stretches designed to restore full-body balance and alignment by addressing imbalances in the body's kinetic chain.
It is suitable for individuals of all ages, from the very young to the elderly. KCR aims to reduce injury and recovery time, release various aches and pains, and improve overall function by realigning the skeleton, enhancing blood flow and nerve operation.
Where pain is felt, is not always the root of the problem. There may be hidden restrictions at work, for example knee pain might come from a pelvic misalignment. The kinetic 'chain' pulls unevenly and the body creates compensation patterns to adapt around the restriction. Because the body is not in alignment, discomfort and pain is experienced.

KCR balances the hips, spine, shoulders, neck and cranial base in the correct order to help restore alignment. Every joint, muscle and fascial connection is linked and each part of the KCR protocol builds upon the previous one.

Fascia is the “Full-Body Connector”, it links all your muscles, joints, and bones together. It is thin, stretchy, connective tissue that wraps around your muscles, bones, and organs. Like a flexible full-body suit, keeping everything in place, helping you move, and supporting your posture.
Unhealthy fascia can feel “stuck” and cause chronic discomfort. Long hours at a desk, driving, or even habitual standing postures can make fascia shorter and less elastic. Falls and accidents can cause injuries that make fascia tight, this restricted fascia reduces mobility and can subtly pull the body out of alignment. This causes pain or poor movement in places that you wouldn’t expect.
Understanding the fascia provides clarity as to why localised pain can have a whole-body origin. KCR works on balancing the entire body; aiming to restore natural movement patterns and freeing fascia is key to that process.

About the 'Gold Standard'
The ‘Gold Standard’ scientifically reviewed and approved status of Kinetic Chain Release provides peace of mind and authentic authority for practitioners and clients alike.
Kinetic Chain Release received a 99% ranking from FOTO. This means that Kinetic Chain Release is ranked as a number one treatment in the USA and Canada.
FOTO Patient Outcomes an industry leading therapeutic outcomes management system which evaluated over 2500 KCR case studies against a huge database of over 36 million case studies. The majority of clinician case studies that KCR was ranked against, were from Physiotherapists.
A comparison of treated conditions showed that for neck complaints an average of 10.8 visits were needed compared to the gold standard KCR which only required 1.6 visits. It is an outstanding success rate and a massive reduction in both recovery time and costs for patients.
If you live with chronic pain, Kinetic Chain Release is an excellent way to alleviate or even resolve pain. Many people have reported experiencing an improvement after just one, or a short series of treatments.
